Bible In A Year Connect Group

Begin your year with a great New Year’s resolution—to read the Bible in
2026! Bruce & Cheryl Nelson will lead this group.

We will meet Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Nelson Home, 2207
Edgewood Ave, Schofield. We live a few blocks from the church. Our first
meeting January 5 is a Monday. You will need to begin daily reading Jan 1.
Bruce and Cheryl have led this study in other churches and here at Christ
CC in 2022 and 2024. They know how beneficial a basic understanding of
both Old and New Testaments can be.

This life-group is a Bible Study using “The Daily Bible in Chronological
Order” edited by F. LaGard Smith. This Bible rearranges the books with the
events when they occurred. For example, Psalms David wrote are read
with the situation David was facing, and Paul’s letters are moved to places
in Acts where Paul was ministering.

This study involves commitment; approximately 20-25 minutes of reading
each day. We have found it works best with 8-12 people attending.
You will need to buy this Daily Bible, cost is about $25. We will be using the
NIV version. There is a kindle version. It is available at Christianbook.com
and Amazon.com.

This group is open to all, couples, singles, or repeat customers. No
childcare.
